Επίσκεψη στη Σόφια της Βουλγαρίας

Το 3ο Γυμνάσιο Λάρισας επισκέφτηκε τη Σόφια της Βουλγαρίας με σκοπό να πάρει μέρος στην 4η Διακρατική συνάντηση του Ευρωπαϊκού προγράμματος Erasmus+ “OVER WATER”.

Το ταξίδι πραγματοποιήθηκε από τις 3/11-9/11 και συμμετείχαν δύο καθηγητές και οχτώ μαθητές. Οι πέντε εταίροι Βουλγαρία, Ιταλία, Γαλλία, Λιθουανία και Ελλάδα συναντήθηκαν στη Σόφια της Βουλγαρίας, συμμετείχαν σε πολλές δραστηριότητες και παρουσίασαν τις εργασίες τους. Το σχολείο μας παρουσίασε τη δημιουργία της γεωθερμικής ενέργειας, των θερμών πηγών και των πηγών ιαματικών και μεταλλικών νερών της χώρας μας. Ιδιαίτερη έμφαση δόθηκε στα ιαματικά λουτρά Αιδηψού, Σμοκόβου, Πόζαρ και Κόκκινου Νερού που είναι γνωστά για τις θεραπευτικές τους ιδιότητες.
Κατά την παραμονή μας στη Σόφια είχαμε την ευκαιρία να επισκεφτούμε το κέντρο της πόλης, να περπατήσουμε στους δρόμους και στα πάρκα. Από τα κτίρια που ξεχωρίζουν είναι το Προεδρικό Μέγαρο, ο καθεδρικός ναός, το μουσουλμανικό τέμενος και το Δικαστικό Μέγαρο. Επισκεφτήκαμε το ναό του Αγίου Αλεξάνδρου του Νέφσκι με τον χρυσό τρούλο και το National Museum “Earth and man”. Δοκιμάσαμε το ιαματικό νερό που τρέχει από βρύσες στο κέντρο της πόλης σε θερμοκρασία 40ο C. Επισκεφτήκαμε το Tsari Mali Grad και κολυμπήσαμε στα ιαματικά λουτρά. Υπάρχουν πισίνες με νερό διαφορετικών θερμοκρασιών 16ο C, 36ο C και 41ο C αντίστοιχα. Επισκεφτήκαμε το μοναστήρι Rila και στη συνέχεια πήγαμε στο Sapareva Bania όπου είδαμε το θερμό πίδακα geyser που περιοδικά εκρήγνυται και εκτοξεύει στήλες θερμού νερού και ατμού. Στην περιοχή γίνεται χρήση του θερμοπίδακα για την θέρμανση των σπιτιών.
Γευτήκαμε τοπικά εδέσματα και παραδοσιακά γλυκίσματα. Ακούσαμε παραδοσιακά τραγούδια, θαυμάσαμε χορευτές με τις παραδοσιακές τους στολές σε δρώμενα και χορέψαμε μαζί τους παραδοσιακούς χορούς.
Τέλος το ταξίδι στη Σόφια και στη χώρα της Βουλγαρίας ήταν μια μοναδική και αξέχαστη εμπειρία και η φιλοξενία των Βούλγαρων εταίρων μας ήταν πραγματικά εγκάρδια.

The 3rd Gymnasio of Larissa visited the 52o primary school ‘’Tsanko Therkovski‘’ in Sofia, Bulgaria to participate in the 4th Transnational meeting of the European project Erasmus+ ‘’OVER WATER’’ from 3/11 to 9/11. The Hellenic team consisted of 2 teachers and 8 students (1 boy and 7 girls). All the children were hosted in Bulgarian families. The topic of this meeting was ‘’Thermal Energy: Thermal baths source of well-being’’. The five countries France, Lithuania, Greece, Bulgaria and Italy had the opportunity to take part in activities organised by the recipient country and present their PP upon the subject. Our school had prepared a detailed count of the thermal baths in Greece and their curative properties emphasizing to the most reknown as Edipsos, Smokovo, Pozar and Kokkino Nero. Using video and photos we explained the origin of geothermic energy and geothermal fields as well and its applications in Europe. Finally, we mentioned to the meaning of metallic water and its benefits for our functions and health.
Concerning the activities, we visited Tsali Mari Grad and took a bath in the thermal water. There were 3 different kinds of pools according their temperature 16oC, 36oC and 41oC respectively. We went to Sapareva Bania and admired the hot jet ‘’geyser’’ which periodically erupts and launches huge columns of hot water and steam. A part of this energy is used for the heating of houses. Additionally, we visited the Rila Monastery and the Boyana church. We walked around the city center, the nearby parks and went shopping to the famous Vitosha Bullevard. Among the central buildings the Presidential Residence, Cathedral, mosque and the Courthouse were the most exciting. We tasted the thermal water from the taps at the city center whose temperature is up to 40oC. We had a pass from the Saint Alexander of Nefski, a Russian church known for its gold dome and the National Museum ‘’Earth and man’’.
Regarding the Bulgarian cuisine we tasted the local products and traditional sweets. We listened to traditional songs, attended an act with dancers dressed in local costumes and danced with them, too.
The trip in Sofia was a really interesting experience and the Bulgarian people are extremely kind, hospitable and hearty.
